Gogo no Kocha | Kirin Beverage Corporation
Kirin Beverage's Gogo no Kocha is the bestselling brand in Japan's canned tea drink segment. The name is a straight translation of the English 'Afternoon Tea' and, since its debut in 1986, the package has featured a portrait medallion of Anna Maria, Duchess of Bedford who is said to have introduced the practice of taking tea in the afternoons to help deal with the hunger pangs that attacked her between lunch and dinner.
Bravis has designed not just the main line-up of canned tea drinks for Gogo no Kocha, but brand extensions such as chocolate, candy and flavored teas. The package couples a strong sense of authenticity with a gentleness designed to appeal to the brand's core audience of young women.
