Mitsui Sugar

Mitsui, Japan's top-ranked sugar refiner, has asked Bravis to design a number of packages ranging from a '21st century anniversary sugar gift' pack to cane sugar and Teshio, Mitsui's first venture into the salt market.

For the sugar gift pack, formal colors were used with black and white photographs of sun, wind and water alluding to the bounty of nature. The salt, meanwhile, used a stylized Japanese print-style motif of a wave to communicate that this was sea salt made in the best, traditional Japanese way.
