The Kyushu Tourism Development Organization was launched on April 22, 2005. An alliance between the public and private sectors, it aims to stimulate tourism in Kyushu, the most southerly of the four big islands that make up Japan. The Organization turned to Bravis to create its visual identity.
The two curving lines represent the mountains and the sea of Kyushu, while the seven warmly glowing colored dots beneath symbolize all the different things for which the place is famous: its natural beauty, history, culture, volcanic springs, local foods and friendly people. This logo shows how the people of the region are all working together to promote the Kyushu as the best destination in Japan.
