Kirin Brewery Kirin Makkoi Umeshu

Kirin Makkoi Umeshu is a plum liquor with a rich, full-bodied bouquet and a delicious fruity taste.

Bravis developed this package to help Kirin to capture some of the growth in the booming 'non-bitter' alcohol segment by strengthening the Makkoi brand.

We placed the product name boldly in the center of the package in a forthright expression of the brand's authenticity and quality. We then set the name against a plum-shaped graphic. The addition of the glass vividly evokes the experience of enjoying a drink of umeshu. Note how the pale pink plums floating up from the glass suggest the rich bouquet for which this brand is famous.
