The culinary brand MAGGI is one of the most venerable marques in the Nestle stable and MAGGI products have been sold in Japan for over 35 years now. Originating in 1882, MAGGI was commissioned by the Swiss public Welfare Society to create easily prepared vegetable food products for working women who were spending less time in the home.

Bravis was assigned the task of creating the packaging for bouillon in its powdered and cube forms. We preserved the key brand equities of the red logo on a yellow background, but added some warm and homey elements, like the color-coded table cloth-like background pattern and the icons to differentiate the flavors. We also took care to include the photographs at a large, and therefore appetizing, size.
