Connecting the World
A major Japanese trading house founded Nexion in November 2000 in anticipation of a rapid increase in the transmission of image data files, particularly video for broadcasters. In addition to providing broadband video services, it also runs an undersea fiber-optic cable network and city-ring networks in Asia, Europe and the United States. Bravis was assigned the task of creating a corporate name and symbol to help the company reach out to major business customers across the world.

Creative Response
Bravis created a range of names based on themes such as 'Broadband' and 'Speedy Transmission'. Of these 'Nexion' was selected because it most neatly encapsulated the new company's central competencies of interconnectivity and next-generation technology.
