Developing a graceful food brand for a five-star airline
ANA, one of the world’s leading five-star airlines with a reputation for high quality service and delicious in-flight meals, has created a new food brand “ANA FINDELISH” to allow more consumers on the ground to enjoy the delicious food that ANA Catering Service, which prepares in-flight meals, has explored with its exclusive top chef. FINDELISH” was born.
One of our goals when developing the brand was to give the new brand the same sense of quality as ANA, which serves delicious food prepared by top chefs using excellent ingredients from different regions. Through discussions and workshops, we elicited from the client the portfolio of brands and the ideas that went into the new brand, and developed a brand name that means “Delish” (find) and a new brand concept that reflects ANA’s unique character. The new brand concept was developed to reflect ANA’s unique character.
The brand logo, which resembles a saucy sauce on a plate resembling a flying airplane, expresses the attention to detail of a top chef and the deliciousness of the food. The stylish package is finished in the deep blue color of ANA’s brand equity.
