Design Development for a Taste of Nature

A volcanic island formed by islands in a southern country. Kit Kat Chocolatry Volcanic Chocolate” is a Kit Kat that uses only rare cacao grown in the rich land nurtured over a long period of time.

The design, which featured a black background with icons of a volcano and the nature where the cacao used in each flavor was grown, was loved by many consumers for its mature and high-quality face. Three years after its birth, the brand has undergone a renewal that transforms it from its previous high-class and stately face to a brand that is more sympathetic to the millennial generation, utilizing Volcanic’s vividly colored worldview.

Overall, the current key visuals were retained, but the image was significantly reimagined with a white background. Colorful watercolor graphics are used to enhance interest. In addition, the face is designed to make the differences between the regions of origin even more enjoyable by making the characteristics of each of the flavors, Malekula, Carcarcar, and Mindanao, stand out more prominently.

The heavy face is transformed into a more flamboyant Volcanic.
