PROJECT
The design of the Parrot Botanicals brand gorgeously emphasizes the fragrance and lasting sensation that are the most distinctive features of the brand. With strategic design that accurately captures the purchasing motives of the younger generation, the brand has succeeded in getting off the ground.
PARROT Botanicals, a Thai soap brand, is an extremely long-selling brand that has been around for more than 80 years. It is sold in convenience stores and supermarkets, and is a popular souvenir for Japanese people traveling to Thailand.
With competing products from overseas entering the market one after another, the brand needed to undergo a brand transformation that would be appropriate for the times, with a sense of trendiness and novelty, while maintaining the brand identity it had cultivated over the years.
Bravis was involved in the renewal of the brand logo and package design for the Classic and Pastel series, as well as a review of the color development.
The format of both series is the same so that customers can recognize the Parrot brand at a glance, even in a store where many brands are lined up. The Pastel series, which targets younger customers, has a modern design similar to beauty skincare products. The design is conscious of the floral layout that gives a sense of blank space, but also expresses the spread of a gorgeous fragrance. The design is designed to clearly convey the feature of long-lasting fragrance compared to competing products.
As part of the “product extension” marketing strategy, we also designed and developed the gift box, the exterior and interior of the bus station, and the Song Taew bus (a shuttle bus).
