Expanding the brand world with 3D character

Thailand’s Berli Jucker Public Company (“BJC”) is a major company involved in a wide range of businesses from food to household products. Bravis is involved in many of BJC’s brands, including “Cellox,” a brand that offers tissue and other paper-based products, with toilet paper as its main product.

A new brand character has now been formulated for Cellox. In addition to package design, BRAVIS developed the character and 3D design for the character.

Among the many cute and relatable animals developed for the character, such as the sloth and the striped sloth, we decided on the “bear,” which is more familiar to consumers. We decided on a bear that would be more familiar to people. We gave the bear a unique identity by having it wear a cap with the letter “C” at the beginning of the brand name.

The 3D design was then incorporated into the 3D design, which allowed us to develop the realistic texture of the toilet paper and the various facial expressions of the bear, which could not be fully expressed in the 2D design. Each pose expresses product features such as the softness, tear resistance, and sturdiness of the toilet paper, and is intended mainly for use in advertisements and social networking services. The bears’ fur, for example, is not too hard like a stuffed animal’s, and the overall impression of the bears is warm and loose, creating a character that will be loved by children and adults alike.

The package is designed with a ribbon that seems to flutter in the wind to express the softness of the toilet paper, one of the product’s features. The moving format will be used as a surface in stores to promote the brand. In addition, the packaging is designed to differentiate between two-ply and three-ply so that consumers can instantly understand whether they are buying two-ply or three-ply at the storefront.
